Dick Doll hails from Bethlehem, Pa and is proudly, 69 this month (march,99). He sends along these neat photos of his WWI aerodrome. These are just three out of about a dozen!! The 'feel' is kinda like Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome, NY I love it when he says, the upper photo is when the 'Brits had the property, and the lower RH is when the Huns captured it.' Even better, in the lower rh picture is the Camel with it's wing off because (of course!), it has bullet holes in it. The wheels are from Rosemont Hobby Shop, 4317 Howertown Road, Northampton, Pa. 18067 Budding industry!! for little hangers like the one he built. Thanks, Dick. Fantastic!! |
