A few months ago the Gods of Modeling smiled upon Fiddlers Green and introduced us to Mr.Al Swann. He's a 68 year old modeler residing in Maryland, who, like myself, has this thing for WWI planes. He draws the plans, makes the models, sends them to us, and collects some money. (Nowhere near the amount it should be!) The detailing on these peanut scale planes are mind boggling. The tiny guns are made from pigeon feather quills, landing gear bits and exhaust pipes are made from broom straws. Take a good look at these models because they'll be in our range toward the end of the year with tons of gratitude to Al and his modeling genius-thanks |
